Vision
Empowered Deaf Voices, United Across Sarawak

We envision a Sarawak where every Deaf person – no matter where they live – feels strongly connected, empowered and recognised through a vibrant, inclusive and proudly Deaf-led movement.

Mission
At Sarawak Deaf Community Services Association, we:
  • Prioritise Deaf leadership and self-representation
  • Raise awareness of Deaf rights and identity across Sarawak
  • Innovate accessible, interactive BIM learning experiences
  • Develop city hubs to anchor Deaf services in Kuching, Sibu and Miri
  • Establish strong partnerships with government and private sectors to ensure Deaf voices are heard.

Making Deaf Voices Visible and Powerful

Sarawak Deaf Community Services Association Persatuan Perkhidmatan Komuniti Pekak Sarawak (SDCSA) is a Deaf-led organisation founded by Deaf professionals in Sarawak.

With over 30 years of combined experience in Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) teaching, leadership, and advocacy, we are committed to strengthening Deaf identity, culture, and community across Sarawak.
